[food] Sweet Pista(Bangkok, Thailand)

Crunchy Pista Burger(beef)+Mandarin Orange Fudge Cake

[food] Sarabeth's(Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan)

[food] Roast Coffee & Eatery

Roast Coffee & Eatery is one of the busiest cafes in Bangkok.

I've heard that the owner used to run a cafe called 'Ohana Fresh Cafe', serving good brunch.

However, it was closed couple months ago, and here comes 'Roast Coffee & Eatery'.

The space is quite big and bright. Each table also equipped with sockets.

There are a lot of choices from the menu, not just drinks and pastries,

but also some nice dishes like salads, tapas, pasta, breakfast and brunch and so on.

Haven't tried their dishes yet. I'll try next time, when my Japanese friends visit Bangkok.

When I was considering what to order,

I noticed that almost every table has ordered the popular strawberry waffles.

Though I'm female, I'm not a huge strawberry fans. Besides, I'm not that interested in waffles,

I prefer pancakes and crepes actually.

So, I just ordered a lime pie and Early Grey tea with lychee and mint.

They are pretty good. I just relaxed, enjoying my food and reading my magazine.

(By the way, it's August I stopped by I supposed.)

In my opinion, I think there's an easy way to define if this cafe is good or not;

that's to order a simple tea (or coffee) and traditional cake or pie (means not fancy, cute desserts).

If their chef is good, of course he/she can make simple desserts taste marvelous.

To sum up, it's a nice cafe serving with good food.

I think it can satisfy you no matter you are a foodie or sweet lover.

However, it's just crowded every day;

people even have to stay in line to wait a table, quite exhausting though.

I'm not sure if they accept reservation, but better call before heading, especially on weekends.

[food] Cinnabon in Bangkok

I've tried Cinnabon twice or more times quite a long time ago,

and I just realized Cinnabon is back to Japan again last month.

I love everything made with cinnamon, and I also miss my aunty's hand-made cinnamon rolls. :(

Although I've heard that Cinnabon in Thailand is not as good as it in other countries,

I decided to give it a shot!

OK, they already look different, not tempting at all!

The taste is wrong and the frosting is awful.

Though it's quite cheap,

I think I won't buy them again unless I really wanna have them. :P

Thanks to the iPhone apps and filters, the picture above did look yummy. Not a bad idea at all to try one if you really miss Cinnabon. The caramel ones are better than the classic ones!

[food] iberry cafe (J-Avenue branch)

Actually this day I was gonna try 'Pastry-P',

but when I got there I found out it's closed on Sundays.

Therefore, I just took the motorcycle to J-Avenue again.

I bet everyone would be familiar with iberry which provides nice ice cream and desserts.

After finishing my lunch at Bonchon, I realized I need something cold and sweet,

That's it! Ice cream!!!!

It's really hot during noon in Bangkok, comparing with ice cream like chocolate or nutella,

I prefer something refreshing like lime or mint.

I order Guava and Salted Plum flavor of ice cream.

OK, I know it might sound weird, but it's truly delicious and refreshing!!!

The color is like mint green and baby pink combined.

Oh, and with my Lychee + Kiwi smoothie.

It's always a great idea to order fruits smoothie in Thailand.

There are also tons of kinds ice cream, crepe and waffle.

They even serves lunch! I didn't know until I checked the menu.

[food] PH1b Coffee Bar

As soon as I set up in Bangkok, I found out this cafe on the Internet.

No fancy food, but somehow, it just grabbed my attention.

However, the branch on Phaholyothin is quite far from the BTS station,

so I didn't have a chance to stop by until the Sukhumvit branch has opened recently.

As the name, PH1b takes coffee really seriously.

With professional coffee maker and freshly brewed coffee beans,

the cafe is full of nice scent of coffee.

I ordered English Toffee Latte and Apple Crumble.

The taste of my latte is really mild, and the foam is just good.

Easy for people who is not used to strong coffee like me.

The crumble is not bad, and bigger than I imagined. :P

[food] New York Style: BKK Bagel Bakery

As soon as the second month I moved to here, Bangkok, I found out this little bagel bakery.

It serves the real New York-style bagels with a lot of kinds of combinations.

There're about 8 kinds of bagels from plain to onion and cinnamon.

Not only the bagels, but also bagel sandwiches!

The best I tried so far is New Yorker, which is full of chopped liver, green onions and mustard.

This is really really great. One of my favorites!

[food] A Peace of Mind: Li-bra-ry

As I know, Li-bra-ry is quite popular among people in Bangkok, especially students.

It's located on the alley behind Emporium, Sukhumvit 24.

Li-bra-ry is quiet with nice background music.

People are using their laptops doing papers and studying here.

The space is not crowded, and that's what I like about it.

As the name Li-bra-ry, the shelve is full of English books, free for people to read.

Li-bra-ry provides not only pastry and coffee but also meals and breakfast.

I'd like to try their meal next time.

I ordered Hot Pie (chicken and mushroom stuffing) and Black Tea Latte.

Both tasted OK, not so impressive though.

[food] Colors of Sweets: 103+ Factory

103+ Factory is located not far from BTS Ari.

The decoration is simple mono tone - black and white.

What's good about it is that they use colors to embellish,

like flowers, grass and of course those lovely and colorful sweets!

The menu is simple. The volume of the food is not much, and a little bit expensive I think.

It's better to order three or more kinds and share with friends.

However, the desserts here are really awesome!

I've tried the Chocolate Crepe, Thai Chai Crepe, Chocolate Lava Brownie and the Cheese Cake.

As we can see in the photos, the arrangement is also lovely.

What I love about it is the wooden tableware which reminds me of Japan.
